Getting the hang of this blogging thing!  When I first saw this stamp set, I was not excited...but I LOVE it!  It is so fun to have the stamps and the framelits for this set.  Made this cute card today:

I love fall....

Well, it's still in the 90s but I can feel that fall is coming. Finally.  It was a long, hot, busy summer and I am so glad that things are slowing down a little ;).  I love the fall stuff that came out in the Holiday Catalog from Stampin' Up! and I wanted to share another card that I created from the For All Things stamp set.....

For this card, I used Soft Suede, Lost Lagoon and Very Vanilla CS, For All Things stamps, Crushed Curry, Wild Wasabi, Tangerine Tango and white pigment ink pads, Crushed Curry and Lost Lagoon Ribbon, wood elements and twine.

Workshop coming....

I am so excited that I have finally been able to plan another workshop!  It will be on Thursday, October 16 at 6:00 p.m. at the Round Table Pizza on Lake Blvd. Here is one of the projects we will be making....

This was made using the new Curvy Keepsake box die from the Holiday Catalog, For All Things stamp set, wooden elements, lost lagoon ribbon, tangerine tango and very vanilla cardstock and hello honey and early espresso ink.  Please leave a comment on this post if you would like to rsvp for the workshop.

Wow this summer went by fast....

I can't believe how quickly this summer has flown by....school will be starting again in two weeks and I am just not ready! Here is another card I made for Freshly Made Sketches. I am so enjoying this blog challenges - they are very motivating for me.

Feeling Refreshed....

AH, just freshly home from a little getaway with my family!  Now I'm ready to get creating! Decided to jump back in with a lovely sketch from Freshly Made Sketches - this is my new favorite way to get motivated.  I figured I would get a couple of sketch challenges done and then move on to organizing my next workshop...YAY!!

Getting the creativity flowing again.....

So, it turns out that adding regular blogging into my schedule was a bit of a stretch for me...and it seems like every time I sat down to make a card to post, I had no ideas.  No creativity.  So, I went to the 'net to find some inspiration.  I found a couple of blogs that offer sketches each week.  You make a card according to the sketch, post it and then the design team of the blog chooses a favorite.  So, I decided to try it out.  I made this card for the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  It definitely got me going again!

Learning more everyday....

Today, I figured out how to put these beautiful buttons (on the right) on my blog. Thanks so much to Darla Watson for all of her help in figuring this out!  It always helps when you can call on someone who has gone before you for some much needed help! Anyhoo....here is another card for your viewing enjoyment!

I just love this stamp set - and it is so fun to color on the stamp with your markers! This is the Animal Talk set and Sweet Sorbet paper.

Beginning Blogs Busts Boredom to Bits.....

I can't believe I am actually posting my first blog post....it has taken forever to get this going! I made the blog header myself but first I had to teach myself how to do it and then get everything looking the way I wanted...SHEESH!!  Anyway.... I wanted to start posting cards and crafty things.  as of yet, I have been unable to get the buttons going for my shop, the Stampin' Up! catalog, etc.  I will be working on that over the next couple of days.  Here is a little card to get us going...

I made this using Stampin' Up Retro Fresh paper, Coastal Cabana, Baked Brown Sugar and Tangerine Tango cardstock, Banner Framelits, Forest Friends stamps and burlap ribbon.  Let me know what you think!
